Tips and Tools for Multimedia Journalists
South of the border lunch, North of the border in Phoenix. It was over 90 degrees in Phoenix on Wednesday. That is unseasonably warm, even for Phoenix!
In chapter 10 in Journalism Next we discussed news as a conversation. We are going to practice that concept to a small extent by using this blog posting as a feedback forum for groups #4 & 5. Sometime before Monday, March 21st, review the news packages for Scott, Shannon and Mike from group #4 due on Wednesday, and Alfredo & Xanning from group #5 due on Friday. As we do in class, give them feedback on at least one thing you thought worked well and something that you would change or you think could be improved. So this won't be confusing, make sure you give the first name of the person to whom you are giving feedback at the beginning of your post. Make a separate post or response for each person. I've included links to each of their blogs below:

My producing class is divided into three groups. Each group is producing a pilot TV program. Today they pitched their ideas as if the rest of the class were the respective TV network executives who would fund or not fund their projects. Check out the pitches and vote on which one you would choose.
